Bem localizado e com compromisso. Boa piscina exterior e interior. Restaurante sem clientes e sem um barzinho para o café depois do jantar. Limpo e sossegado. A única coisa que já não se justifica hoje em dia, e o wifi ser pago nos quartos. É um serviço já devidamente difundido.

We found the hotel staff to be welcoming with most speaking English very well. They were attentive and helpful. They had no issue storing our bags after checkout for free. The open areas were clean and tidy, the wifi in the lobby area worked well with a nice desked area or comfy seats to use whilst emailing or surfing. The outside pool was large and clean although not heated so cold in the mornings. There were no chairs at all around the pool, just lots of very low sunbeds. The inside pool was quite small but warm and clean. It had signs saying swim caps were mandatory but, having bought some, it became obvious that noone else wore them and there was no enforcement by staff. There were no staff at all attending either pool. The lifts all worked and were rapid, if a bit small. Our apartment was clean and tidy although the furniture had seen better days and was a bit rickety. My biggest gripe was how dimly lit the apartment was. The bulbs were all low powered making it hard to read at night and there were no lamps. During the day, the main room had loads of natural light from the patio doors. The balconies were clean although a bit small but still useable. The apartment was large although it was not well stocked with toiletries and the kitchen had no washing consumables so you need to buy your own washing up liquid, sponge etc. There was no washing machine although the TV was quite modern…although only having one English Channel, Sky News. We brought a mini dvd player with us but the TV was wired into the wall and there was no power socket near by to provide power. There is a shuttle bus to the old town that only runs a handful of times a day and it is small so dont bank on getting on it. Lastly, to activate power in the apartment, you need to insert your door card key in the wall. When you leave, the power switches off to the entire apartment a few minutes after you remove the key card. This means any electronic clocks, chargers or other devices lose power and you have to reprogram them on your return when you switch the power on again. Food in the hotel and the vending machines is very expensive. All in all, a very reasonable hotel.

We have just returned from a week away at Ondamar, we had a lovely stay! Our hotel room was spacious, clean and comfy, I’d say it was one of the most equipped hotel rooms I’d ever stayed in too! ( dishwasher, microwave, oven etc!)
This hotel is located in the middle of Old town and the strip, so you have the best of both worlds! We walked mostly but a taxi to the old town is only €4 and if you fancy riding a tuck tuck, they have a minimum charge of €10 but will give you a ride around Albufeira. There is also a free shuttle bus that runs from the hotel 3 times a day, one in the morning, lunch and evening…
During the course of our stay we were not once disturbed by anybody! We were lucky – but people coming to this hotel, expect noise, you are coming to Albufeira and the chances of you seeing stag/ hen parties are very likely, so keep that in mind!
Minus a point for the fact that there were no cushions on the sun loungers which made them so uncomfortable, instead, we either went to the beach or used Fat Cats pool area ( they do great breakfasts by the way!) this is a shame because the hotel has a lovely pool!!
Mini golf is great fun & people staying at the hotel get 15% off so well worth a go if your at the hotel.

Ondamar Hotel
Just returned from 5 days at the Ondamar hotel & happy to say it was a good stay.
Some of the reviews don’t do this hotel justice.
We are 4 woman in our late 40’s so just wanted some chillout time in the sun but with some good nightlife,were not passed it yet !!
The room was very big & plenty of room for us all very clean & new towels everyday,it was a bit dated but more than adequate.
Its not noisey as some people say & wasn’t full of same sex parties either.
The breakfast was nice & they actually cooked it for us as we were the only ones in the restaurant.
Its in a great location close to the strip & the old town both were great nights out.
The pool is lovely & the toasties they serve there are amazing i would definitely stay here again.
The chinese opposite the hotel is lovely food too,we had a takeaway night in with some wine which was a good night to recover from the strip.

Requests above should be sent to the Data Protection Officer and will be executed only after identity confirmation. We undertake to get back at you within the period defined by the GDPR.

Withdraw consent

Similarly to the requests above, we undertake to process your request within a reasonable period from the date of request and pursuant to the GDPR.
